About the wine shop

The Semič Wine Shop is a venue offerred to visitors by the Association of Semič Winegrowers. It hosts tastings of Semič and other town's wines in Bela Krajina. The winegrowers also take part in the tourist project Open Door Days in Bela Krajina: Every Friday during the summer the association organizes enjoyable evening events where local Semič winegrowers and other winemakers from Bela Krajina offer their products to wine lovers. The association organizes at least three annual social events dedicated to wine, such as the evening of rosé or yellow muskat from Bela Krajina. The most important winemakers' holiday is St Martin's Day when must turns into wine. At that time they organize wine competitions and award the best ones. The association will also host and prepare wine tastings with advance reservations.
